Majestic Princess is a ship sailing for Princess Cruises. She is a Royal-class vessel, and is a sister ship to Regal Princess, Royal Princess and the upcoming Sky Princess. Her keel was laid on 10 July 2015 and her name was announced 9 October 2015. It was also announced that she will conjointly carry the Chinese name, ????? (Shèngshì G?ngzh? Hào, literally Golden age princess), An interpretation selected by Carnival PLC's China employees, which means "Grand World" or "Grand Spirit" princess.
Her design includes "Movies Under the Stars" (the largest outdoor screen at sea), a multi-level piazza style atrium, glass-floor walkway which extends 8 meters beyond the edge of the ship and cuisine from Italy, France, North and South America, Southeast Asia, Japan and China.

Construction
Majestic Princess was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. She was launched on 8 February 2016. The ship was delivered on 30 March 2017.

Majestic Princess sailed on her maiden voyage to Civitavecchia, Italy on 31 March 2017 from Trieste, Italy to Civitavecchia, Rome, Italy. The ship's godmother is the mother of the ship's captain Dino Sagani, Graziella Sagani.

Majestic Princess will spend July 2018 operating sailings in Taiwan. The ship will be based in Keelung and will offer 20 various cruises.
